So I saw her a week ago in 013 in Tilburg, quite a big venue I was surprised as I expected smaller. The train to there was shitty due delays of course and that’s why were caught in the middle of the venue but we had an okay dinner before. I gave a ticket to my father for his birthday and he’s quite a fan! He never goes to concerts though but alright.

We arrived there and I have to say she started quite late, also without having a support act, 21:00 is a bit late on a weekday when I also have to train for an hour to get there, but she can. She opened with Left Outside Alone so good, quite a classic of course and that set the mood. The setlist was alright, a few duds like Before and Why (right after Pieces of a Dream and before the Led Zeppelin cover, Ramble On (or whatever)… Also no thank you). I forgot to vote for a song with her app, gotta remind that next time. Glad she did the hits of course, I missed I Belong To You as a duet with one of her band, that would have been nice (also cuz my dad loves that song). I liked Nobody Loves Me Better and Redlight from the new album, they were great. She sang great of course.

Why Did You Lie To Me was made kinda Spanish again, like last tour, but still good with her and the dancers, but it did lose a bit of its surprise when you already saw & heard it performed like this. Same goes for the ‘Funk’ medley that was basically the same as two years ago I think. Well, she only increased her prices about 5€, so that was a bargain I guess. Also part of the lights of the stage broke down, poor it.

She had a few great interactions with the audience. I remember her asking a guy if his girlfriend brought him along or did he come by himself? Well it was his sister and now Anastacia’s turn to make him into a fan. Also someone shouting a I LOVE YOU and then she said I love me too, that was a kii. I liked that she threw a few t-shirts in the audience and showcasing the band was funny with the drummer having quite a big slot and doing some classics. This user took videos of all her Dutch concerts (3 this year) and posted them on YoutTube, but the quality is bad. Nice to look back someday perhaps.

Overall, a good concert. If you haven’t seen her before, do it because you will enjoy it for sure. If you did see her before skip this one and perhaps see her on a festival if you are going there anyway. She tours Europe every month or so go next year. Even 3 dates in the Netherlands in 2018? Stan Holland a bit.
