The 28th of April, it was finally so far… Such a great time to celebrate Diamonds and Dancefloors as Ava Max was going on tour (finally) and playing in Paradiso in the Netherlands. It was iconic. Also great that tickets went on sale not 38 months in advance, but just a few weeks or so.
I went there with two friends and it was lovely to see them again, even tough we were a bit hangover due to the concert being the day after the King’s Day, which was a great celebration. The venue is great and small, so very intimate and lovely to see artists up close. Ava was so energetic and there were fun times in between the songs, as there was some choreography with a chair and other messy things, making it bad bad and fun.
The setlist is here, short and sweet, the night of bops! There was a little girl on the balcony dancing so much along to the tracks with (muting) headphones on that was such a joy to see. I had so much fun enjoying all the tracks and almost the full album, even tough it felt a bit short and all, it was cool to be there and on this night. There was so much demand for the tickets and I was so happy we got them, felt really special.
I could not believe finally seeing and hearing My Head & My Heart, Kings & Queens, The Motto, Sweet but Psycho and all the other tracks in person. Dancing on all the tracks and her performing them with dancers was such a joy and blessing to experience. She could have included a bit more but it was fine as it was, an iconic night to be part of. We danced so much and enjoyed it a lot. It was definitely a good start of her performing and I can’t wait what the future will bring next.
I really enjoyed this and would see her again! One of the best concerts this year. So good.
