I saw the fabulous Kim Petras at her show in Paradiso, Amsterdam for the Broken Tour, so good!

I had a busy day that day, because I had a handball match before in Rotterdam, but it went alright and I scored a goal, but we still lost. Had a good time though.

I went to my friend to have some dinner beforehand and we date some delicious wraps. Then off to the train to go there, of course there were some issues so we had to take another train in Leiden. But that gave us some time to get a dessert, a big swirl ice cream, delicious.

Then we got there at Paradiso and some of the security were not letting people in without a separate membership (4€), however when we bought tickets it said membership was included in the ticket, which was printed on the ticket, so thank god we just got in fine without paying that damn fee. Also I spotted a friend there and said hi – sweet girl.

The support act was someone I knew, previously part of the G-Team and now known as Darling Peter, it was bops galore. Then after that MAZURBATE was spinning a lot of happy ultra gay tracks too. Too many to mention, it really started the crowd. Fantastic! These kind of openers is what the world needs in 2019! It wasn’t that busy or sold out I think, as we stood a bit in the front/middle. Later it started getting fuller. I had a chat with the merchandise lady but nothing was good, so saving my coins. It would have been cool to see her in a 350 capacity venue (Bitterzoet) but Paradiso is always pleasant and I understand the reasons to move.

Kim Petras got on around 20:30, so on time and the crowd was feeling it. The intro gave me big songzleakz teas, iconic. Ms. Petras reminded me a lot of Gaga, with the glasses she had on and the full look. (Also the loud backing track ddd). It was a cute concert, the intro was funny and she did perform a lot. Queen of never shortening songs though? Take note, big pop girls!

My favourites that she did were 1, 2, 3 dayz up, I Don’t Want It at All, Heart to Break & Sweet Spot. It was really great to be there and see her give her all while being on stage only with Aron and nothing else? She did some choreo and a bit of dancing, I will steal some moves for the club next time.

Sweet Spot by Kim Petras

Time flew by and I took some videos of my faves a lot of photo’s. Well did I dance? For sure did! I was happy I was off the day after for my vacation and when it ended around ten, we got on the metro and were home at eleven, usually I’m never that early back from a concert, so I decided to spam my Instagram stories with the concert, ddd. Also the setlist was good and the full concert did not feel short. I loved the interaction with the crowd, she was very sweet. She grew up in Cologne, Germany, which is close to the Dutch border, so she knew some. What did she remember during her highschool time there? Google it if you dare!

I do recommend to see her when you get the chance! There are still not some sold out shows I think or otherwise try a reseller like TicketSwap. It was quite cute and just a pleasant kinda small concert. This is the time to see her up close before she might blow up. If meet & greets are your thing, do it now when you still get a lot of time and not have to pay that much yet.
