So here is my glowing review.

I just had the closure of a party week(end) with the town (and lots of shirtless guys because summer, sun, drinks) and that was amazing – but then I had to go to the Rita Ora concert hoping it would even top that! So I read here that she cancelled the show before and was getting nervous about my date but thank god it got pulled through.

We get there just in time for RAYE to open and she has a band while Rita did not have one? I mean… Why? Okay, RAYE is OKAYE but she made it good when she got to Cigarette and of course You Don’t Know Me (well certainly I didnt know she had that BAWP under her belt I thought it was generic singer 329 but its hers). So that was good, I will stream her EPs once.

Then Rita came, even before the scheduled time and she was good. A setlist or rather greatest singles list with bops here and there. She sang good, the mood was right and her personality shines, you see her oozing charisma. But it’s hard to point at where she is lacking, but she was a little. I think it was the choreo. There were dancers but she danced along a little and not convincing, and also skipped quite a few lines, so many that it was noticeable. Also how many backing singers does she have? 2? It felt too much with her skipping over the lines so much. Also the chiffon, my concert bestie and I were waiting for it to get stuck or go down and of course it did for a hot minute.

To improve; It would have been better to start Lonely Together acoustically into the normal one or play an instrument somewhere idk a piano… So I think that would be where she would need to improve to make it better. Don’t drag me too hard for this I still gave her coin!

Great, enjoyable concert. She’s at a good place. Hot Right Now went off here and that was so great. Other highlights were I Will Never Let You Down (to the GP filled venue) and Coming Home (to me). I disliked what she did to Anywhere, streched it out too much and it sounded like a stumpy lazy remix, the studio version woulda been better. So to end with that was a bummer, although For You before that went off too. Also a kii when she went to spin Girls to an questionable explanation (of course) and this:

I clocked her yesterday when she said she wanted an intimate tour before the album first, then she said it’ll come in summer but quickly took that back and changed it to later… Never change, Rita

Will she come another time when, if, second album, someday?
